I’ll be the first to admit that committing to write for 31 days the same month that I was releasing my eBook probably wasn’t the smartest idea
You may have noticed it’s been quiet around here the past couple of days. It wasn’t planned but it was wise on my part to step back for a minute and finish a huge goal of mine. There were a lot of final details that I had to put in place to make today happen… and what is today?
The official release day of my new eBook Simply Dressed: Inspiration to Dress for the {Everyday} Ordinary Days!
Ever since I was a little girl I have always loved books and knew that one day I wanted to write one. I honestly never thought it would happen but when I started this blog, God begin to open a lot of doors for me, including the one to accomplish a life long dream of writing my own book.
Simply Dressed is based of my popular 31 days series from last fall, 31 Days to a Wardrobe You’ll Actually Love but I promise that I did not just copy all the posts together in one resource and call it a day. Nope, I’ve been working super hard for over a year writing, refining, researching, editing, revising, re-writing… all the above. It has been a huge labor of love and I have poured a lot of my heart, sweat and tears into this project that I hope blesses you, as much as the journey blessed me.
Simply Dressed is the challenge to not only clean out your closet and love the clothes (and body) you currently have, but also to make the choice to get dressed every day. It’s so easy to fall into the habit of wearing sweats, yoga pants or other comfortable clothes, especially for those of us who stay home all day.
In this book I walk you through the process of examining your heart and attitude towards clutter, understanding and embracing your personal style, a two-week challenge to clean out your closet piece-by-piece, and creating pre-made outfits that flatter you through clothing that you already own. After going through your closet, if you find you need to purchase items to fill in gaps, I walk you through the process of creating a Wants and Needs list to prioritize your future shopping trips and to make a plan of action to maximize your clothing budget, however small or large that might be.
Simply Dressed is available both here on my blog as a PDF download, and on Amazon Kindle.
The price is $6.99 but from now until next week as a special first week promotion, you can purchase Simply Dressed for only $4.99! Along with purchasing the eBook you also get access to the resource page loaded with printables, style inspiration, tutorials and more.
